On Data Privacy
By enrolling at Legal Edge Bar Review Center (Review Center), you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, and processing by the Review Center of your personal information ("Data") for the purpose of managing, implementing, and administering the BAR REVIEW PROGRAM (“Program”). You hereby authorize the Review Center to gather, possess, use, retain, and process the Data, in electronic or other form, for the above purposes.
You may, at any time, review the Data, require any necessary amendments to it, or withdraw the consent herein by contacting the Review Center's Data Privacy Officer at 09178945356. However, withdrawing your consent to the processing of your Data may affect your eligibility to participate in the Program and receive the benefits provided thereunder.
The Data will only be held as long as necessary to implement, administer, and manage your participation in the Program, and other similar endeavors intended to better serve you, to improve the Program and the Review Center's operations, or to fulfill other purposes as may be required by law or by lawful authorities.
On Intellectual Property
Subject to existing laws, all products, such as but not limited to the review materials and the lecture videos as shown in the livestreaming, and other intellectual properties belong to, and shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Review Center. You are not authorized to reproduce and/or distribute for any purpose, whether for profit or not, any of the products and/or intellectual properties of the Review Center.
The Review Center reserves the right to avail all available civil, criminal, and administrative remedies to prosecute or defend its products or intellectual properties from any unauthorized reproduction, use and/or distribution thereof.
On the Conduct of Lectures
In its thrust to elevate the edge of more bar candidates, the Review Center adapted an alternative learning platform, through online live streaming of the lectures, with replay-on-demand access. Nonetheless, while most of our lecturers have consented to the live streaming of their lectures, there may be some who opt not to have their lectures recorded and made available in our replay-on-demand facility.
Also, there may be a few lecturers who would prefer to provide recorded lecturers for your use. You will be informed in advance of a few cases when the lecture is only to be conducted via live streaming, in order to ensure your utmost attendance on the same.
Further, there may be isolated instances when there are connectivity/technical issues beyond the reasonable control of the Review Center. In such instances, may we kindly request that you communicate to us your experience, in order for us to check if there a way to prevent or minimize the issue.
The Review Center has limited control over the manner or methodology of the lecturer in the conduct of his/her lecture. The manner and methodology include the lecturer’s teaching mannerisms and use of language.
On the Technical Requirements for Viewing the Online Live Streaming
For the online live streaming of our lectures, we will be using the Zoom webinar application. This application requires as table internet connection with a minimum of 1 MBPS download and upload speed. You must use your registered personal e-mail address only with the Review Center in creating your individual Zoom accounts.
Under no circumstances shall the Review Center be accountable for any issue, risk or loss on account of, or in connection with your access to, or use of, or inability to access or use, the application or any associated third-party content.
On Opinions and Views
The opinions and views expressed by the lecturers during their lectures are those of said lecturers and do not necessarily reflect the policy, stand or opinion of the Review Center on the subject thereof.
On Payment Deferment and Refund
Should you decide to defer enrolment to our next review session, your request should be received by us on or before 31 May 2025.
Refund of the 50%discount of those belonging to the top 5 of their class shall be until 31 July 2025, provided that the required certification therefor is also submitted.
On the Period of Access
The lecture videos in the replay-on-demand facility shall only be accessible from April to September 2025.
